Volunteering

Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. Volunteers can help in a variety of ways, including listening to a child read, tutoring, updating bulletin boards, supervising field trips, and material preparation tasks that can be done at home. Anyone who is interested in volunteering in our classrooms must fill out a volunteer registration form with the front office and comply with requirements, which include passing the district’s background review, prior to being allowed in a classroom. Opportunities to volunteer may be limited by school or district administrators. Volunteers are required to check in at the front office each time they come to volunteer in the classroom.
